Terms of Service
Please read the entire agreement. You agree to these terms when you use this website. 

Returning Purchased Items

We can only accept returns of unused products within 21 days of receipt. Contact us before returning any item. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We will do our best to ensure that you are satisfied, let us know why you wish to return the item, we may be able to address your concerns without having to return the item.

Payment

Payments are collected immediately upon purchase.  Accepted payment methods are displayed on the checkout page, and may change at any time.  When in doubt, please contact us for more information.

Customer conduct

We will always treat our customers with respect, and expect that our customers will do the same to us.  We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any potential or current customer who behaves in a way that is any of the following: threatening, abusive, illegal, profane, or otherwise inappropriate, as judged solely by our staff.  Anyone who falls into this category will be told why he or she is being denied service.  While we will not conduct business with people who behave this way, we will always communicate clearly as to what we object to.

Customer support

We cannot promise a specific amount of time to reply to support questions, but we will reply as quickly as possible. Our goal is your satisfaction, please be patient if your request is not answered as promptly as you’d hoped.

Safety

The specific parts and manufacturers of our electronic components change frequently. Therefore, some of our kits may not work exactly as documented, May damage or otherwise affect other equipment, or may be out of compliance with current laws or user licenses/agreements. You, the customer, are solely responsible for your safety, which includes proper, safe, use of equipment and tools/safety gear and assessing whether or not you have the required experience and skills to complete any project. Any power tool, electricity or other equipment used for a project can be dangerous, you must know how to properly use them and use appropriate safety gear.

Not all photos or documentation will necessarily depict proper safety gear or techniques, these pictures and descriptions are for demonstration purposes only, and it is the customer’s responsibility to know what safety gear is appropriate in which situations. 

Chair Two makes no recommendations about age limits on its projects, but in general, these projects are not for children. Use of any instruction, kit, or project on this site is at your own risk. Chair Two LLC disclaims any and all responsibility for any resulting injury, damage or expense. It is your responsibility to ensure that your activities comply with applicable laws, including copyright.

Please click here to visit their site. If you feel uncomfortable with assembling any project or kit, simply contact us to return it for a full refund. Chair two is not responsible for any of our products if you resell or otherwise transfer ownership to another individual, all of our customer agreements are only with the original purchaser.

We may link to external resources in our site.  These links are provided as a convenience for our customers, and visiting one of them will take you away from our website. Visiting any of these sites is at your own risk; we do not control any external site’s content and cannot guarantee that it will not change or cease to function.

Shipping

We only ship to domestic US addresses.  This may change in the future.

We do not guarantee a specific shipping turnaround time or carrier.  All items will require some preprocessing, please allow for that when considering your purchase. Sometimes, our items will be offered for sale as a preorder, and will be clearly labeled as such.  In all cases, we will communicate clearly about the specifics of your items’ shipping, including tracking numbers when available.

We cannot refund your shipping costs if the carrier fails to deliver according to its own policies.  Therefore, if you believe that -- for example -- UPS has failed to deliver a two-day shipment within two days, your issue is with UPS, not Chair Two LLC.

Privacy

We store your phone number, order history, email, shipping and billing addresses in your user account. For your security, credit card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV codes are not stored. User information is only used to ship goods and contact you in case of an order or shipping issue. We do not, and will never, sell or give any of your information to any third-party or send you any unsolicited advertisements. Please view our complete privacy & legal policy here:  

Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to keep our site up to date.  There may be cases where the specifics of an item do not exactly match the delivered product or documentation (e.g. product color, specific manufacturer of components, etc).  If you have any questions about inconsistencies between the website and your delivered product, please contact us, and we’ll ensure that you have the information you require and that the site is updated.

Indemnification

Customer shall protect, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Chair Two LLC, its stakeholders, directors, officers, employees and agents from any fines, damages, costs, losses, liabilities, fees, penalties, claims and expenses (including legal fees and expenses) incurred by Chair Two as a result of the failure of the Customer or its agents, officers, directors or employees to comply with this Section.

Limited Product Warranty

We warrant our products will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of thirty (30) days following the date of delivery to you. We will replace, repair or credit you for any confirmed defective product at our option. Please contact us with any issues. 

Warranty will not apply if product fails or is damaged after delivery to you due to accident, abuse or misuse.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE, PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” AND CHAIR TWO AND ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO WARRANTIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS. CHAIR TWO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCTS AND CONTENT WILL OPERATE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT THEY WILL BE SECURE OR VIRUS-FREE. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY CHAIR TWO, ITS AGENTS OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES OR EMPLOYEES SHALL IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE SCOPE OF CHAIR TWO’S WARRANTIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FORGOING, CHAIR TWO AND ITS SUPPLIERS DO NOT MAKE, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM, ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATED TO ANY THIRD PARTY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, TECHNOLOGY OR INFORMATION PROVIDED AS PART OF THE PRODUCT OR DOCUMENTATION.

No Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CHAIR TWO, AND ITS SUPPLIERS, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU, OR ANY THIRD PARTY, FOR ANY INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF USE OF THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES OR DATA, OR COSTS OF REPLACEMENT GOODS, EVEN IF CHAIR TWO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
